T-shirt Design Brief
Looking for a design for our yacht club. This is a casual group that was started 75 years ago so I'd like the design to be classic and fairly simple. This shirt is meant to be somewhat playful jokining that we have been undefeated in 75 years of boat racing so I think I would like a kind of hand-drawn looking design. I have included some photos of different shirts to show what I mean by the hand-drawn looking design.
We have a trophy (picture attached) that I would like to feature and print on the shirt in a metallic colored ink. I will also need to feature our club's pennant flag (picture attached) in the design. Optional flags that may be incorporated into the design but are not necessary are the US flag, North Carolina flag, and City of New Bern flag. One possibility may be like a regatta-type theme with the flags. As for the text - I would like the name of our club at the top (Eastern Carolina Yacht Club) in red ink maybe with a light white outline and in the font that is engraved over the door of our clubhouse (picture attached). On the bottom of the design I would like it to say "Undefeated 75 years" with the two years 1946 and 2021 displayed. Finally, somewhere in the design I would like to incorporate the following text: Eastern North Carolina's most prestigious and coveted racing cup" and "The oldest undefeated yachting trophy in the world." Possibly this text could be incorporated on banners or ribbons but I am open to other ideas. Including rope is also a way to make it a classic type of design. I would just like the design to be classic and have the look of being hand drawn. The shirt will be long sleeve navy and I'm hoping for a fairly simple design using metallic gold for the cup, along with red, white, and maybe yellow and/or brown and black as needed.
