Logo Design Brief

The business is a start-up, designing fun and funky toys that feature people of all abilities, colours, and genders. We need an eye-catching logo that embodies the inclusive aspect. Most products feature a rainbow design somewhere within. Predominantly we sell puzzles and magnetic dress-up designs, but are looking to expand over the years to include a wide range of toys and books that all aim to foster and embed inclusion within it.
At present, we have a logo that we are unhappy with. It features a scientific beaker, with colourful smoke coming out of it and forming the shape of a butterfly. While we like the general idea, we feel that the execution is poor.
We want our logo to be utilised on all forms of branding and packaging of products, so it must be print friendly. The products are designed for use by younger children 3+, but target audience would be parents, typically others who are conscious of inherent bias within the world (e.g. highly gendered toys, ableist)
Simple, eye catching, and that demonstrates inclusivity.

3+ olds for the designs, but for marketing aimed at parents. The more 'woke' kind of parents.

Logo Text

We are open to a logo without text, but are also interested in seeing it with text. The text would be the business name ‘The Inclusive Lab’, the word ‘The’ must be included as it is within all our social media handles and web address.
