Logo Design Brief

I am a freelance designer who will trade under Ackroyd Design - I work with builders, architect, and the general public designing Kitchens, Laundries, Studie room, and bathroom cabinets, eventually, I will also bring my floristry business (renee's floral studio) under the same Brand, it will be Ackroyd Flowers. So Ackroyd is essentially the design hub and 'design' and 'flowers' are the subcategories under the Ackroyd brand. I like logos to be clean, crisp, architectural, well thought out, and a bit clever too.
I tend to like black and white but would be open to suggestions to add another tone if needed.
When considering business cards please consider the type of paper, weight of the card, I do like a bit of embossing but this would need to work well on both sides of the business card.
