Logo Design Brief

We need a word mark and a logo design for a property in Florida called "The Crossing at Winter Park". We do not like the current word mark and logo as it doesn't scale well from large signs to small icons. The property is located in the historic town of Winter Park, Florida, US. The style of the buildings are Key West Town Homes (this style of home is found in Key West, Florida). The property gets its name for being located next to a railroad crossing. We are looking for a crisp, simple, and stately word mark that is easy to read, as well as a logo that is easily recognizable and scales well so it may be a tiny browser tab icon, or a large road side sign. Both designs need to work well individually and together. Both designs need to be easily legible when printed over pastel colors, like the colors of the houses on the property. Both designs need to easily adapt to a watermark on images.

The website does not have current exterior images, only pre-construction renderings. I've uploaded current exterior images so you may better understand the profile of the property. I do encourage designers to review and like our Facebook page as well as review and follow our Instagram account. Both will provide more context on the personality and brand we are developing for the property. I'm experienced in using design crowd and commit to providing timely feedback for all design submissions.
