Logo Design Brief

I want to freshen up our existing logo for Collab365. We have a network of sites at Collab365 Blog, Collab365 Events, Collab365 Directory and Collab365 Today, so I'd like one logo (for Collab365) with the ability to put the name of the site below it as a sub-brand.

I'd also like a variation / icon that I can use as browser favourite so need a square version too.

I'd like to keep the existing color scheme of red, whites and greys. However, the current red (#be3621) doesn't stand out well on black so I am happy to change the red so it works well on black or white.

Our main tag line is "Let's learn together" so if the logo can incorporate an icon that embodies that.. brilliant.

Requirements

Must have

• I'd like the "Collab" to be a red and for the "365" to be white on black and black on white.
  
  I'd also like to switch to lower case for the "COLLAB". Happy for it to be uppercase C if it looks good.
  
  It should be similar in nature to the existing logo, so there's some familiarity with people who already know us.
