Logo Design Brief

I need a campaign sign logo that incorporates Giddings Lt Governor, the republican elephant, A-10 warthog or aircraft symboligy and something linked to Idaho potentially (include Priscilla if not distracting). I've attached my old logo but I'm trying to do something new. I also attached my chicken scratch of what I though of off the top of my head but I'm open to some creativity. The airforce stripe is the idea through the middle but with the elephant instead of the star (or maybe keep the star and put the elephant somewhere else?)I need it to fill a rectangle sign and be very easy to see from far off.
