Logo Design Brief
The name of our Brewery is Do Good Brewing and the name of our Brand is "Benjamin Franklin". We are fully licensed and will be selling kegs to bars in under 5 weeks. We need a new logo for our brand because we are not extremely happy with what we currently have.
I attached an image of our current logo to this project. The font being used is called ChikenKing. While it looks cool, we feel it is not properly representing the brand we want to portray. We want something more professional and elegant. We want to sell Benjamin Franklin Craft Beer to high end restaurants and not just bars.
A perfect example of the look we are trying to achieve can be seen on the packaging of La Colombe coffee shown here http://shop.lacolombe.com/
We would like a logo that resemble the style of their logo. By logo, I mean the name that goes around the image of the dove silhouette.
Instead of a bird it could be our hop and lightning bolt icon that is seen on our brewery logo that is attached. Or since our whole concepts surrounds philanthropy it could be a white ribbon but the two ends of the ribbon could be a lightning bolt and a piece of wheat.
The saying underneath could be "Craft Beer". So it would say Benjamin Franklin at the top and smaller text at the bottom would say "Craft Beer"

I want to make it clear that we are looking for a brand for our brewery, not a label for a beer bottle. This logo will be what we put on all sign's, posters, beer taps, etc..etc..etc..
I wants something that can be easily recognizable and iconic. Think of the coors logo or Samuel Adams. You recognize them right away. I absolutely love the logo of "Varnelli". This is a company from Italy that make liquor. Please click the link below to see their logo, may something like this would be great, with "Benjamin" on top, "Franklin" below (maybe with the F in Franklin starting at the n from benjamin) Maybe green letters with a black outline or something. Then in small letter is can say "Craft Beer".
This example and the La Columbe examples I already gave are the best I can think of.
