Logo Design Brief

We need a new logo design for the relaunch of our restaurant. We are a golf & country club in Western Sydney and we operate within a residential estate.

The restaurant overlooks the 18th Green and is open to members, their guests and the general public. We want the logo to reflect a warm and welcoming atmosphere as well as the tranquil surrounds and vista of our golf course. I would like the logo to have a contemporary feel with a country club feel but not necessarily a traditional golf club feel.

We have given the Restaurant a new name: The Fairways and envisage the font used will form a major part of the new logo. I have attached photos of the view from the restaurant.

Target Market(s)

Club Members, their Guests and local community. Golfers, Families, people looking for a quality venue to have lunch or dinner, gather with family and friends.

Must have

• The logo needs to be clean, attractive, offer a contemporary feel and evokes quality
  The Restaurant name - The Fairways - as part of the design
  The logo should be sleek and contemporary

Nice to have

• Colours used should be inviting and reflect a hospitality setting.
  The logo should have a country club feel
  complimentary colour palate

Should not have

• Not be too busy or with too many images.
  No Traditional golf club feel (the essence of being a Golf & Country Club is fine).
  No over the top in colour choice, nothing too contrasting
