Logo Design Brief

We need a logo for a high-end luxury invitation-only golf tournament to attract high-net-worth individuals. The concept of the tournament name "The Blades" is a play on the word blade being 1) a helicopter blade, and 2) a term for a golf club that a good golfer uses b/c the participants will be flown to and from the tournament in a helicopter to participate in the event. The name of the private club hosting the event is called Willowbend so the logo should say "The Blades" as the primary name but have a spot for "Willowbend" and the year of the event.

I think this is likely going to just be a really cool type treatment that may or may not incorporate a golf club and or helicopter blade somehow. The tricky part for these is doing in a way that is cool and not cheesy looking of course. Something you'd want to have on the front of a hat or shirt.

• Not looking for your typically "cheesy" golf ball or golf flag or golf trophy logo that you can download off the internet. Looking for a cool type treatment that may or may not also have a cool icon element that subtly and stylistically conveys the meaning of the name The Blades.
