Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for a rock band called "The Pennyfire". Our music is rock and roll with hard rock, grunge, blues, funk, and punk influences. We are looking for a logo that represents our music, has long-term staying power, is simple, and interesting. We would like the logo to look equally as good on album covers, our website/social media platforms, and merchandise (T-shirts etc.).

The more straight-forward the better. We are not interested in having musical instruments displayed in the logo. The goal is our namesake represented in an interesting, catchy fashion.
