Logo Design Brief
We bring the finest, most nurtured red-ripe strands of saffron from the region of Herat in western Afghanistan to you. Saffron is a plant that is grown in this particular part of the world. It is one of the most expensive plants in the world and is commonly compared from a value standpoint to gold. It is commonly used in food (target audience: master chefs, dine-in restaurants, international type markets/restaurants). Consuming saffron creates medical benefits such as helping with alzheimer's, depression, PMS, anti-cancerous, improving memory and improving sexual potency. The process by which saffron is prepared, the stigma or yellow strands are separated from the red strands. Herat once was considered the economic center of an ancient civilization called Khorassan. Today it is the only city in Afghanistan that produces saffron.
I’m open to ideas on the type of logo that’s best for my brand. As explained in the section above, the target audience is broad. Since saffron is a plant that is used in multiple ways what I am looking to do is re-package it and delivery it via small containers by reselling it. I'd like to capture two things in my logo. Morwari saffron can be used as an ingredient to mix with food. Morwari saffron also posses medicinal values. Food for thought when designing the logo - If we can incorporate the logo into the wording "Morwari" itself (ex: if the "W" could resemble the purple crocus (see attached).
