Graphic Design Brief

I am looking for help designing a series of digital achievement badges for outdoor activities such as climbing, hiking, biking, swimming, jumping, etc. To achieve a badge, users will need to submit a video of them taking on the challenge. The badges need to include some meta information that links the badge to the video and we are looking for interesting digital design concepts around the badge with regards to its corresponding video. Other elements that would be good to represent in the design would potentially be, location of user when badge was achieved, design element to indicate first achievers of the badge, design element to indicate how many other people have achieved badge, etc). The badges will be linked to images and videos of the challenge submission.

Target Market(s)

Outdoor enthusiasts that will complete challenges to receive digital badges. For instance, a mountain biker may go off a rock drop at a certain location to earn a rock drop badge.

Requirements

Must have

• There must be a wide range of badge designs for common outdoor activities such as: mountain biking, hiking, climbing, swimming, cliff diving, paragliding, skydiving, yoga poses, flips, spins, gymnastics, parkour, slack-lining, skiing, snowboarding, falling, tripping, crashing, motorcycling, off-roading, horseback riding, backpacking, camping, etc.

  There must be some a legend that describes any common themes (for instance (random idea): a ring around the outside that somehow indicates location, or a ring around the outside that indicates special status (maybe 1st person to achieve this badge), etc.
  The deliverable should be in the format of the picture here. I would need separate badges for the different outdoor achievements with a legend that describes common badge attributes.

Nice to have

• For inspiration look at video game achievement badges, reddit badges, NBATOPSHOT moments, redbull , etc.
  
  As these are digital badges they do not need to be limited to a single design and could have multiple elements such as NBATopshot moment badges.
  
  Potentially could also have some elements of the name of the badge included as well in the design.

Should not have

• This project should not show the digital badge on any physical element (ie- don't put it on a letterhead or card or paper). This is a digital only design and will only live on a website.
