T-shirt Design Brief
For some context, we are an Australian based technology firm that has recently been acquired by a large multi national American based and publically listed company. To commemorate the event of the two companies coming together we would like to design a t-shirt to be distributed among our staff.
Our company is called Servian and it has been acquired by Cognizant. The resulting logo remains our own Servian logo with 'A Cognizant company' now added beneath it.
We have attached the logo below for reference.

Must have
- We would like the Servian_ 'A Cognizant Company' logo to be on the sleeve with your designs being on the front of the Tshirt.
Nice to have
- Some of the themes that we considered were:
1. New horizons
A t-shirt design that signifies the two companies working together to achieve new things. Going on a new journey. Navigating new unchartered territory together.
This could involve two individuals with a company logo on each person. Backs to us. Staring into space, or into the future, or into a horizon. As a show of diversity one could be male and the other female as opposed to two males.
2. Bigger, Better, Badder
In this sense imagine a representation of servian already looking mean and lean is about to get seriously hulk-like. A depiction of growing hyperstrength. Morphing from big to even bigger. In all cases it should not appear violent, contain any gore or anything else unfit for a formal workplace. Humour is good.
Again the idea is that because Cognizant has added it's strength Servian has become Bigger, Better and Badder. The character should have an element of badass to them.
3. Tip of the spear
Think 300 Spartans. Think of a scene that contains a large Cognizant army that goes back as far as you can see. But the frontline is made up of a Servian army.
4. 33%
After the acquisition the Servian team will make up approx 33% of the Cognizant workforce in Australia. So some sort of image that is made up of 1800 dots with 600 of those dots in a different colour.
That image could be of the two logos morphing from Servian to Cognizant. Pointalisim style is the obvious choice here and having both logos possibly overlapping but blurred in the middle. To make this concept work you need to cleverly morph the two logos and then add the the dotted/pointalisim mark ontop of it
The first 3 design concepts mentioned above lend themselves to a mural based pictorial depiction of a scene. The last more of a design logo.
