We're a small but impactful Washington State nonprofit that supports formerly homeless and incarcerated individuals with holistic, peaceful reentry back into society. We're looking for a logo that we can use on our website and throughout our marketing materials. Our mission is "We believe in a world where everyone belongs." We've also been using the tagline: "Empowering marginalized populations to dream, connect and thrive."
I'm uploading a drawing from one of our community members that can be used as a guide. Our organization is founded on restorative models (Non-Violent Communication, Circle methodology, etc.) The circle is very important to us since we have weekly circles in our Restorative Home, weekly community circles, and community conversations using circle principles of rotating leadership, reciprocity and safety.
We would like to be able to show that our community represents diverse members of society (over age 18) with different ethnicities, ages, faiths and lived experiences.
A circle that is slightly open, either with someone sitting with a hand outstretched to welcome in someone else, could be a helpful idea. A closed circle might give the impression that there is no more room for anyone else to join.
Thank you for helping our organization find a logo that feels inclusive, safe, welcoming and easy to replicate on tshirts, business cards, etc.
