Logo Design Brief

Need a master logo for an existing business that has been purchased by new owners in a small rural town of New Zealand. The master logo will be easily adapted to include text highlighting the specific divisions of Pets, Events and Workshop but these divisions do not need to be represented into the master logo.
The business is 60 years old and has been in one family for that entire time. The town is a farming town and the logo must appeal to an agricultural and conservative market while clearly being modern and fresh. Our preferred colours are a deep midnight blue with either a light blue or silver/gray accent/secondary colour as this is subtly different but consistent with the existing business colours. We do want the name Sloans to feature in the logo and for the words “Pets” or “Events” or “Workshop” to be easily added for the sub-division specific logos. The Events division is a events and party hire business, the Pets division is a retail business focused on subscription sales of feed and animal healthcare product and the Workshop is a manufacturing and fabrication workshop producing PVC, Canvas and Leather goods such as tarpaulins, outdoor living screens and blinds, motor trimming work, boat and trailer covers and the like.
We re focusing on making it simple and enjoyable for customers to do business with us and helping them to make their special thing special. Our values are First things first, Learning never stops, Enjoy what you do and Inspire others.
