Logo Design Brief

Sidecar is a boutique marketing consultancy located in Australia. We are seeking a new logo illustration.

Specifically we are looking for two illustrative logo designs. We are NOT SEEKING A LIFE-LIKE ILLUSTRATION. Rather, there needs to be an element of iconography to the design, leaning in the direction of cartoonish (think more "TinTin" than "Disney" for style cues) with an air of vintage to the design.

PRIMARY LOGO
Must feature a German Shorthaired Pointer Dog riding in the sidecar of a motorcycle. We want the impression of the dog being happy that he is going fast , with his ears flapping in the breeze. He is there to point the direction. He can do this with his head or you can use his front leg (if it suits your design). We'll leave this up to you and what works best with your ideas.

(IMPORTANT NOTE: We are in Australia, so the sidecar must be on the left-hand side of the motorbike in your illustration, NOT THE RIGHT-HAND SIDE.)

SECONDARY LOGO
The secondary logo must feature the dog on his own (head only). This logo will be in an identical illustration style to your main logo design and will feature the dog's head pointing with his ears flapping in the breeze.

COLOURS
We have not identified any specific logo colours at this stage. Please work in black format. If you have a specific vintage colour palette that you would like to put forward with your design we are open to your suggestions.

TEXT
Both logos must feature the company name "Sidecar Marketing", with a visual emphasis on "Sidecar". The fonts from the attached "Indian Scout" Image would be ideal but we are open to your suggestions.
