Print Design Brief

I would like to have a big birthday calendar on the wall of our office. The whole year should fit on one 'poster' type calendar. The width should be 42 cm, the height is flexible but ideally under 150 cm. I'm looking for a bold, modern, clean design, not too fine or feminine.

Colors
The wall on which the calendar will be hanging is yellow (rgb(254,204,0)), the calendar should be mostly white, with black and yellow accents.

Font
Please use the Averta Bold font, and all text in all capitals. The font is available here: https://github.com/deblynprado/neon/blob/master/fonts/averta/Averta-Bold.ttf

Design
I am hoping for a design that's slightly less straightforward. I was sketching a bit, and I'm not saying it has to be exactly like this, but it does illustrate a more 'alternative' design. But if you can make something cool that looks like this, then great! (I think my sketch would be better if it was mirrored however, so the parts go 'down' and not 'up').
