Logo Design Brief

We need a new logo for Qualified Trust Company located in Scottsdale, AZ, but providing services nationwide. Provides financial services particularly to employers who have 401(k) plans. Specifically, our role is to safeguard and protect our client's assets in a prudent manner. The website for our sister companies (who provide different services are nova401k.com and afs316.com. It is not necessary that the logo be similar to either of those.

We are not tied to this, but one idea we had was a simple/abstract owl next to QTC to connote wisdom. Or, some other simple symbol to connote our Scottsdale location.

Should not have

• no red, purple, pink for colors.
  no $ sign or similar images ; no money bags or piggy banks
  no cartoony animal characters
  no star images - in too many competitors
  401(k) plan should not be in the logo
