Logo Design Brief
We need a logo design for "Ostomy and Wound Educations Academy". We are advanced practice nurses, who offer education and training, both online and in person to any healthcare professional with a health care license so MD, PT, RN, LVN etc. This knowledge ensures that patients with wounds and ostomies receive care from knowledgeable and skilled health care professionals. This information is not taught in current healthcare professional education. The health care professional enrolled in our programs receive an outstanding world class education, from internationally renowed experts in wound and ostomy care. In addition, they receive 28 continuing education credits.
There is a company offering a similar product www.wcei.net for your reference.
Why are we doing this? It's our passion, and there is a paucity of knowledge and skill in healthcare about wound and ostomy care. Both specialties are consider stigmatized and dirty, and wound care is considered a "cinderella" speciality. There are case of people choosing to die rather than live with an ostomy- we want to change the world of ostomy care globally for the betterment of ostomates.
The ideal final design would focus on both wound and ostomy care or if unable to come up with anything that incorporates both then a design with a focus on just wound care maybe? Just as a reference an enterocutaneous fistula is an example of both wound and ostomy skills.
