Logo Design Brief

I'm.looking for a sleek design for my new comedy troop. We need a sharp logo for t-shirts and other promotional materials. Looking for the colour scheme to be a bit brownish-gold. Similar to the colour of maple syrup. It is also an all Canadian troop so I'm also looking for the use of a maple leaf or syrup bottle as part of the logo. Maybe something tounge in cheek.
