Logo Design Brief
We use mostly wood, some metal & occasionally leather to build stuff. A logo / graphic / icon is needed that can be legible when scaled down small enough for a business card, but is also dope in a larger format. It's okay to have a separate "icon" or square logo and an additional logo that includes the text "weideworks" in ALL CAPS or all lowercase, but AN ICON / GRAPHIC / LOGO IS A MUST. I'm not opposed to having classic woodworking tools involved, but please don't use a framing hammer or a circular sawblade in any way, shape or form because we see them constantly. Design in black & white, we can change colors easily. Things to remember: Legibility is king when text is involved, also needed are scalability, simplicity... also design elements should have some sort of reason or meaning rather than just "look cool". Regarding our business, we focus on custom woodworking & furniture designs to solve problems of space restrictions & functionality limits. We've considered the idea of a W being formed out of a gear/sprocket, but that's not something we're set on.
Updates
Holiday season -- let's give everyone time to rest up, stay safe & video chat with the ones they love.
I didn't understand the portion that Design Crowd would keep for itself, so the initial payout showed only $150. I upped it to our intended payout, $300 for the winning design. Have fun!
