Book Cover Design Brief

Note: I am open to the use of either digital photography or original art. If you want to draw a character from scratch or your style requires more time to complete, I'm ok with a rough copy/line art with the understanding that it will be completed if chosen as the winner.

- Cover is for digital/online only so remember that small details may not be so visible when its online
- 2,560px height x 1,600px width
-Cover must have the main character Keenin on it, although it does not need to be a full body image

Please do not use the attached image for the design. It is a commission I had done of the three main characters:
Keenin the main character and fire user
Dia the ghost seer
Clyde the ice dragon


Short Description: A boy runs from his troubled home while magic, war, and death follow at his heels.

Long Description:

Keenin is a young thief whose efforts for a better life end with him trapped in a burning building when he tries to rescue a friend. The god of death makes a deal: his life for his friend's. But a fire elemental interrupts the deal and bestows a powerful fire magic on Keenin.

With Keenin’s new power to control fire, everyone wants him on their side. A holy knight wants to train him, an enemy army wants to capture him, fate wants to make him the hero, and the death god still wants him dead.
