Icon Design Brief

Need a modern app icon for the relaunch of this top rated Hourly UV Index Awareness app. This is application is professionally designed and developed and will be well marketed next year. It's the best product on the market today and the icon needs to stand out. Existing icon (bikini bottom) has been recently rejected after 5 years for "nudity", so it needs a new look. This is a global app and should be more gender neutral - but stand out from the other UV Index app icons.

Target Market(s)

sunbathing 18-35 females, but relevant for all genders and ages, family activity planning included - whether they want to get a tan, or avoid the high UV index days/times

Requirements

Must have

• Consider plays on very violet and white, to portray actual UV light. and the source of this light, the Sun. Also consider the 5 colors of the UV Index bar graph... perhaps using splotches of those colors, with a blurred effect... with the UV color incorporated - as displayed in the Word Doc attached. Can pull from former splash screen and "UV Forecast" image in center of bottom navigation bar - but would prefer to see something much more modern and exciting.

Nice to have

• Former app icon was rejected for "nudity" after 5 years of being in the App Store. I still want the icon to stand out, be provocative, really differentiate from the boring app icons in the store aside it.
