Logo Design Brief

Recent sell/merger is changing our company name and we need to redesign our previous logo with our new name. We would like to keep similarities from our previous logo so there is familiarity with our current clients within our market area.

Requirements

Must have

• Same color schemes as before. We are a company from Oklahoma that uses the same colors as it's local NBA Team (OKC Thunder).

Nice to have

• Have a piece of laboratory equipment within the "Alpha" part of the logo. For example, our previous logo (attached) uses a microscope within the letter "g" of the Cogent logo. It would be nice to have something similar to that again.
  
  We are open to incorporate other common pieces of laboratory/chemistry equipment within the "Alpha" logo.
  
  For example, you could use a lab test tub or pipette for the letter "L" is "Alpha". Another example would use the outline shape of an Erlenmeyer (conical shaped) flask for the letter "A" of the "Alpha".
