Wordpress Design Brief

Make my blog website more attractive and functional.
It needs a cover image. The purpose of the blog is to sort out errors the public discourse on current topics that affect timeless issues. It is to correct erroneous conclusions on public issues caused by ignoring relevant facts, misunderstandings of the facts upon which they base conclusions, and/or misanalysis of the facts. The topics vary widely.

I have in mind some kind of transition from an out of focus area to a focused area. At one time I used the attached image, but it gave no hint of a transition from a lack of clarity to clarity. I am wide open to other approaches to conveying that idea.

A particular improvement would be making the Subscribe button to be easier to find,

Logo Text

While I would not rule it out, I don't have in mind that the logo will be different from the cover image. The essence of the blog is mostly captured by its name, Let's Sort Some Things Out.

Requirements

Must have

• Cover image. Webpages that are nice looking and appropriate to the seriousness of the blog.
  
  FOLLOW and SHARE buttons in easily found places.

Nice to have

• Instructions as to how to transfer/set up what I receive from the designer to the WordPress website.
  
  Suggestions on Fonts.
  
  Suggested changes to the pages.
  
  BTW: I had no help setting up the current page.

Should not have

• Anything that hints that I am interested in or facilitiates the receipt of money from followers.
