We need a logo design for an australian based software and services business focussed on the underground hardrock mining industry predominantly. we develop paperless data entry solutions, production data management as well as having digitisation services utilising drones and other techniques. the design should be simple yet elegant and reflect a flexible, responsive, innovative and interoperable company. Requirements

Must have

• the current logo is based on a periodic table element box, so perhaps something around there. I like the acronym DT for Digital Terrain, showing the acronym plus the full company name. I like the dark blue colour scheme (ford blue)

Nice to have

• I have also liked the play on the word terrain, where a "sparkline" showing a profile of an underground mine and a surface ofice facilty, plus city skyline. Digital terrain's core product is Simbio, so would like this to then flow into that as a future project, so work on the fact this is the company name, and then there will be a suite of products which should show some consistency or linkage form the company

Should not have

• not be too complex so that printing on shirts in emroidery makes it hard or overly expensive. Miners are simple people, so ntohing too flashy
