Logo Design Brief

We are looking to create a logo and layout for our new online membership business.
It is about parenting and kids and how they learn and interact at the Kitchen Table. At present, it is aimed at the Western culture and it is about the processes and relationships BUILT around the time families spend at the Kitchen Table literally.
Immediately, one thinks this is aimed at kids, but in reality, it is clearly to be aimed at parents of kids - from 2yrs old to 15 years old.
We need a logo we can use that is appealing to our parents and kids and focused on "the kitchen table"- for use on our podcast promo, our social media, and website.
www.aktkidstalk.com is a temporary website. we have a book and will have many more ebooks on various subjects.
Our design criteria is simple - make it colorful, and it should communicate the importance of the kitchen table within the family environment.
Our present book cover says: Around The Kitchen Table... "a breakthrough guide to communicating with your Kids" our future direction is NOT defined by this, however it indicates what we are looking to achieve.
