Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for the Environmental Robotics Laboratory (ERL). ERL is a new research laboratory based at the ETHZ - Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich.
We investigates the future of robotics in the context of today's environmental challenges. The lab focuses on creating new robotic systems capable of exploring and operating within natural environments, in order to accomplish three main objectives: 1) to enable data collection for environmental studies, 2) to minimize the ecological footprint, and 3) to mitigate the effect of climate disasters.
Taking inspiration from nature, the lab aims to study and develop novel design, manufacturing, and perception paradigms to create versatile and robust machines that can handle the complexity and unpredictability of natural environments.
We would like to see a desing that uses only the acronym of the lab (ERL). The final design should communicate that we are doing research in the filed or robotics applied to the environment.
