Design a LOGO for a Financial company - Simple and quality and upmarket

I like the image attached. Can this be modified - same Gold M, MARLIX in capitals and Capital in lowercase underneath - this is what im thinking - but am open to suggestions. I welcome the opportunity to work with you all.
