Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for a new mobile mining maintenance company we are starting in Western Australia called ‘Traxx Heavy Mechanical Repairs’. We are a new business in the mining industry that maintains and repairs heavy equipment such as large mining excavators and mobile drill rigs. We would like to see a design that incorporates the main focus of our business, large mining excavators. We are thinking the use of a silhouette of a large mining excavator and we would like the two x’s of the word ‘Traxx’ made with crossed over excavator tracks. The attached file has photos of the types of heavy equipment we will be working on and an example of the tracks that we would like used to create the two x’s in ‘Traxx’. We are open to different colour usage but we are envisioning red and black or orange and black. The logo will be displayed on the side of a field service vehicle and on yellow highly visible work shirts, so the colours will need to work with bright yellow and stand out. The final design should communicate a large powerful mining business.
