Logo Design Brief

i write comedy film and tv scripts. i'd like my logo to communicate an upbeat feeling. one of my films is about a u.s. army medic in the iraq war, and even then i want the audience to feel that this is a funny, upbeat film. (consider the tv show "M*A*S*H" as a precedent.) my other projects are brighter: two women motorcyclists make a cross-country trip; bad filmmakers try to make a horror film; american and japanese "interpreters" need to make a trade treaty but don't really speak the other's language. but i don't write just films. i'm also writing a tv sitcom about the manager of an apartment building in los angeles. when people see my logo, i want them to think, on a conscious or subconscious level, "Hmm, this could be fun!" the logo might, for example, contain some suggestion of a smile. but that is not a requirement, so don't do it if it feels forced, or limits your creativity. thanks!
