Logo Design Brief
The project is for a community bank in rural West Virginia, with an existing logo/branding in place for almost twenty years. The existing logo is very recognized locally. However, we need a logo redesign. Samples attached. We want the new logo to be similar enough to the old in overall appearance, but with some artistic flare. We want to stay in the dark/royal blue background, with a contrasting white or white-ish color lettering. The font choice is wide open, but something similar enough and not comical. Ideally, the new logo should look enough alike the old to be recognized, but jazzed up enough to look fancy. We need two versions of the logo: one in full color for web/print media. and another in a monochromatic (two color) appearance so it can be applied to merchandise and stitched into clothing. The files should be delivered as .ai, .eps, and .jpg versions, and please specify and embed the font where possible. We intend to publish the logo on www.claycountybank.com website, put the logo into various letterhead and promotional items. and create a favicon from the vector version.
