Hi, the dimension limit is in width only. So 680 pixels, the limit width of a kickstarter page. Colours you have free range on, as long as it fits thematically, and the logo really is just there for brand identity and doesn't need to be used, but if you want to take a blast at it you can. I will add some of the old ones to give an idea of height dimensions, but ideally the design should be flexible enough with the frames to allow for variations on height.

White/silver lion rampart on red shield though is necessary to be a part of the design, as it is based on my family's coat of arms, and needs to be in that exact position.

The price was set by DesignCrowd options, didn't see anywhere I could set a budget or deadline.

In any case, it's been increased now by 100€ and additional incentives have been added, and extended by 5 days. Design crowd itself seems to be a bit of a money trap. I would have added these options when I had the chance in the beginning.

Yes it is. On top of whatever they charge you, they also take a cut on the designer's side. On top of that, I can't help but imagine the hours of work wasted on this site and others. Some projects have hundreds of submissions but only one is chosen. So instead of taking more time for quality work, we are forced to do average work to enter more contests and increase chances to have some kind of payment at the end. Anyway, good luck with the project.

Hi, would it be possible for you to provide vector or high res files of the lion on the shield to have a go at the logo for a more modern and "spacey" look?

I don't have a super huge file, and they are unfortunately only raster graphics. I've uploaded one with the logo in psd format, and added some additional renders to test in the variable height template. I do often use just the rampant lion on a red background in my profiles.

To anyone else viewing this, the logo is included just to show my regular colour profile, you absolutely should not be obliged to redesign it.

I've increased the budget another 100€. Unfortunately it's not apparent to me how to move a 2nd place budget back to first, and it seems only right to offer incentives for those who participate.
