Good questions. Ideally, we might have a bigger graphic that could be a bit more elaborate (with, or without, the name "Akeo" in/on it) that would convey the feeling we want for the boat and that we could have printed onto a flag to fly on the boat and possibly t-shirts, etc.. Also, possibly an alternative "logo" with the same sort of theme but that might be a bit less elaborate that we could put onto cups and other smaller items. Going forward, we're also thinking about making shirts each year for the crew and friends - the backs of which could carry on the theme (maybe a similar tiki head in a different scene/doing something different each season... something maybe akin to your Tiki Bob graphic but changing it up a bit each year?) which could be more elaborate and be more colorful.

To answer more directly, I'm not an expert on printing, but my gut would be fewer colors on the smaller logo and flag? And more colors on the crew shorts going forward. Hope that helps... at least a bit. And, certainly willing to take your professional advice. Also, happy to email back and forth further, if helpful.
