Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for a company which specialises in data collection, storage, manipulation, visualisation, and insights. We also develop software in a software house model but mainly our own products. 
We want the logo to communicate and use colors connected with professionalism, trust, confidence and innovation. 
The logo should be abstract.
It should be created in the way that it can be placed as a small or big version while the small version should be still readable.
The pictogram or the graphical version (i mean not the text itself) should not be rrelate
