Logo Design Brief

I’m looking for a logo for my pet sitting business. Generic cat/dog silhouettes are not really my cup of tea, as I’m looking for a logo that is unique to the industry and doesn’t resemble your standard Googled pet sitting logos. My business name is Parks’ Paws Pet Care, but I like the idea of having “Dog Walking & Pet Sitting” in the logo in lieu of “Pet Care” if it would work better for illustrative purposes. I also would be okay with it just including “Parks’ Paws” with no tagline.

I tend to lean towards logos that are elegant, modern, and simple but bold and unique.

It’s very important that the logo contain only a few colors, and that I can easily alter the logo to work in black and white or in color.

VERY IMPORTANT: I am not interested in logos that I could slap together myself with an online logo generator or pasting some clipart and text together. I'm looking for a creative, fresh, high quality design.

Requirements

Must have

• Easy-to-read font and images when in smaller scales, such as a website header or on a pen. Must have imagery! Please no text-only logos unless the text has artwork built into it. The logo should be clear that it is pet-related, so whether that means including a dog, cat, paw, dog bone, leash, collar etc...

Nice to have

• Very interested in seeing negative space designs!

Should not have

• Character Logos; text only with no creative/image design; animals other than cats and dogs; orange or yellow; masculine/futuristic/“techy” fonts; people.
