I started a blog focusing on the best food, entertainment, sites, shopping, lodging, history & people of the UP of Michigan, Northern Wisconsin & Northern Minnesota. I would love something with easily recognized, simple "symbol(s) of the northwoods & discovery ie: pine tree, birch tree, animal footprint, arrow, weather vane, northern animal(s), snowshoes...? (we get visitors who enjoy nature sports: camping, hiking,hunting, fishing, skiing, snowshoeing, also "foodies", live entertainment, shopping, & learning the history of our region ie: iron/copper mining, & logging)
