Logo Design Brief

We need a logo designed for a yet-to-be-built craft cafe in Melbourne, Australia. The cafe will be a fun child-friendly place for people to meet and do crafty activities. We would like to see designs that are fun and incorporate a representation of a fox that references an art and craft activity. The final design should be clever, able to inform the design of our website and physical space and be easily applied in a range of different media.
The design should be unique and playful and have personality.

Requirements

Must have

• Must be fun. Must be able to be applied in a number of different media such as printed, web and animation. The logo should also inspire a visual language for the web page and physical space.
  The character should speak to kid's as well as adults.

Nice to have

• The fox should reference in its design an art and craft style or implement, such as a paint brush or pencil.
  I find that I am drawn to designs that look like they belong in the physical world, i.e. they are hand drawn/coloured, tactile or reference real things such as paper, fabric or natural materials.
  
  Bright and colourful would be great.

Should not have

• The character should not just be a cartoon fox with a paint brush.
  Please don't give me just a wordmark or lettermark logo.
