Label Design Brief

Hello Designers,

I would like to see the bottles literally be labeled as an absolute stand out from any competitor, incorporating eye-catching copper colour label background colour which matches the colour of my two Copper Pot Stills.

Front Label will be black font on copper label
saying:-

King Island Distillery

A "hh♡" water mark to be incorporated on main label (example attached)

Plus an outline of King Island, (located in Tasmania, Australia), suttle and cleverly included, but only to those who are particularly observant.

I also have visualised Angel wings in a copper outline with diamond details (photo of my necklace attached), incorporated with the two 55L copper stills (photo attached).

I have taken a photo of the Copper Angel Stills (as attached file ‘outline') and have done my best to edit it to show that I would just like the outline to be shown for the copper coloured label (no hoses or shadows should be in it).

Naturally, there are other labels needed to compliment the main Label on the bottle of spirit. For reference much of the rest of the standard information will be very similar to labels on other bottles in any bottle shop.

The King Island Distillery label separate to the Main Brand logo will be a different colour background & font

A bit more elaboration about this Project: My story is that I was made on King Island and I love living a life of freedom, walking daily on our bare beaches and taking photos of this amazing unique place and always able to find a smiling and supportive face. I am very passionate about our Island, all that is has to offer including our world class quality produce, the outstanding quality brand that we are well known for by everyone and the friendly locals.

A native Lady is very exciting to be running the 1st Distillery at 40 degrees South. Making Spirits on King Island in Bass Strait Tasmania, well known as the Roaring 40's. It is known to have the freshest / purest air in the world and likewise with rain water, it sure seems that was to us anyway. Also famous for the tallest lighthouse in the Southern Hemisphere built because of the large number of shipwrecks around King Island, especially the Cataraqui.

My mission is to contribute more to our local economy and community and do this Island and our Industry proud, by way of building and operating a profitable first class boutique spirit distillery that can grow with demand. Using our local products and botanicals to make our very own beautiful beverages to be enjoyed by my Family, residents, visitors and those from afar.

After 7 years in design, now distilling with 2 custom made Copper 55L Pot Stills, namely my Spirit Angels, that travelled across wild seas on a Cray Boat to their new home and are now making award winning spirits.
Namely Gin, using King Island coastal and beachside botanicals, also Ruby Grapefruit & Ginger Vodka. In addition I will also be releasing H17 Single Malt Whisky.

To follow will be other varieties made with Local Produce such as King Island apple and King Island honey spirits and this range will grow with demand.

The growing Industry as I know it, the Distillers and their Teams are fun, friendly with passion and professionalism about awesome alcoholic beverages.

King Island Distillery Sales will be aimed predominantly people visiting the Island. Our market is predominately Golfers, as King Island has two very highly ranked Public Links Courses in Australia and the World. Websites and Podcast still to be developed will which build relationships with current and new people, share our entertaining distilling journey and provide educational information about our Industry and surrounds that make our product such great quality with the naturally amazing wild yeasts and so on.

King Island Distillery will also be selling bottles online and posting orders from King Island to Australia, whereby we want our final design be a simple, effective and consistent brand that shines of natural outstanding qualities of our spirits. Creating an exciting and unforgettable unboxing experience to keep our customers coming back to buy more bottles of spirits from King Island Distillery.

The logo chosen will set us apart from the rest making King Island Distillery easily recognisable and people will respond with a smile and buy bottles. They will be compelled to proudly share the news of their purchase and details of the Distillery far and wide on a variety of Media platforms and consistently returning for more of our delicious Products.

Bottles of Spirit made by King Island Distillery will also be the new gift to give both males and females, plus a great present to give to those celebrating any occasion.
Customers will be given the opportunity for the bottle to be dedicated as a one of a kind for themselves of as a gift, hand-signed with a personalised note to the person from Happy Heidi | King Island Distillery.

Furthermore a series of unique hand made small batch collectables will be next in design…..
