Logo Design Brief

Hello, I’m based in Australia and I have a website called Extra Edge. Here’s the URL http://www.extraedge.com.au/ and it’s hosted by Freesites. I provide proofreading and editing services, however the vast majority of my work involves creating Resumes, writing cover letters for job applicants and providing interview coaching sessions for candidates.

A friend designed my logo years ago, but I think it’s time to move away from the red and into something new. I like a combination of modern and traditional design concepts, and am looking for a logo around the name Extra Edge. I’d like it if the logo could encompass themes of editing and writing but this isn’t compulsory.

Extra Edge is my part-time business, however my passion is reviewing books and I love my logo at www.carpelibrum.net designed right here on Design Crowd.

I’m also planning on choosing a new template for the Extra Edge website, so the red squirly theme will be history and you aren’t constrained by that colour palette.

When I settle on the new logo design, I’d like to choose a new website theme to compliment the launch of the logo. I’m also planning to order some new business cards through Design Crowd with the new logo.
