Logo Design Brief

The company logo is based on the concept image design provided. The shape of the blue scythe and the right angle red triangle must be preserved. The curve of the green can be adjusted for best fit. From herein "green curves" also refers to the lower part of the straight green pole, being part of the same design element. The root of the concept image is derived from 69, the 9 being raised above the 6. The objective of the design is to represent a maypole (a pole central to a dance with a ribbon). No inclusion of company name or letters in the logo is wanted. The company's name is unrelated to the logo design. The generic name is "Maypole Film Finance Scheme". Generic explains the purpose of the company. It is a film finance scheme based on a block chain banking model. It aims to be a "Google Slayer" (hence the scythe) by restructuring Internet governance (hence the right angle red set square). The green curves are a ribbon around a pole. These 3 elements (scythe, right angle triangle and green curve) should not lost. It is a "Google Slayer" so the imitation of Google colours may be appropriate. The missing element to the concept image design is the desire to include a new triangle. The "Silver Triangle" or The "Silver Film Triangle" is the secondary marketing slogan for the company. The obvious colour would be yellow to continue Google colours. However gold or silver may be appropriate. For marketing purposes the term "Silver Triangle" re-works the phrase "Golden Triangle" or "Golden Property Triangle". That describes a rich property area in the North of England located within the triangulation of three cities. The origination of "Silver Triangle" references the phrase "silver screen" to mean film industry. The aim of this secondary marketing slogan is to focus investors on the wealth of the region and to link it to the film industry. The primary marketing slogan is "A Stairway to California". The ribbon of the maypole is a type of staircase wrapping up. The company raises film finance using block chain banking up to Hollywood Blockbusters. It does not finance small or regional films. The wanted inclusion of a triangle is to construct the regional relationship. The finance is from London, so the triangle concept may be wrong for inclusion unless it improves design. As stated the triangle could be yellow, gold or silver. If this surrounds all the elements it may be offset by white space. The triangle is likely to have rounded corners (web 2.0 element). Other alternatives may work (e.g. adding a new triangle other than surrounding.) It is OK to submit a design without such additions and restrict yourself to adjusting the drawn concept alone. Another design idea is to flip the triangle into a diamond. Would the diamond have rounded corners? Some slight colour variation in two halves might create a diamond but preserve visual reference to triangles? It would probably surround the elements and again by offset by white space. It opens the possibility to a 5th colour. Might a new colour be added to create a diamond out of two-halves or will a shade variation of the 4th colour work? No preference to a 5th colour is known. This logo will be used on business cards where embossing, spot UV or hot-stamping foil may be desired. There is no instruction to imitate Google colours but you could. Only the blue of the scythe and red of the right angle triangle must be retained. The requirement for retention of blue and red is based on two competing party colours (Labour red and Conservative blue). The company mission statement is to restructure Internet governance based on Keynesian (left wing) economic theory. The red must resemble Google Red or Labour Party Red. The type of blue is not important but Cameron's light blue is best avoided. The business model is rooted in traditional left-wing Keynesian theory so a right angle set square is red. The "green curve" ribbon element could be changed to any colour but organic growth is suggested by green. The design freedom, whether to add a triangle or diamond and replace colours (except throwing out blue and red) is yours to take. The desired "silver triangle" (or "prosperity diamond") is distinct from the other triangle. The former is a regional concern while the latter is symbolic of a draughtsman's set square of purpose. To help a photo of London's famous maypole is provided. This is located in London's financial district opposite LLoyds under Leadenhall, next to a statue called Navigation. A sign reads "a famous maypole used to be put up on feast days".
