Illustration Design Brief

Dear,

we are searching a graphical designer to design some real artwork for us.
The winner his designs will be used in our product line.

Like you can see in the examples there are also some wood designs. The illustrations for this don't need a background because the lines for the images are the most important. (like you can see in the bird example).
There ere also some other examples. for instance the 'girls', like it's a tattoo on a plate.

The quantity is not that important, but the quality of the images is the most important.
Remember sometimes "less is more"

We are not asking you to copy our designs, but to reinvent our designs. Make something out of the blue, surprise us.
Offcourse i'm giving you the examples to give you a direction how you have to work.
These designs are all copyrighted and are our 'top-designs'

Who are our Costumers? IMPORTANT! :

Our Customers are fashionable. They look in the mirror every morning. They go to the clothing store and buy brands. They want to look nice before going to a party. People who love something new, they want to be 'different' then the normal people. They want to attract the attention of the other people...

CONCLUSION
The designs have to give a feeling of high standard! It needs to look expensive ( NOT CHEAP). It has to be fashionable (NOT OLD-fasioned). Not stuff for Kids. So certainly no skulls. For instance there are people who carry our products on a suit. (just to give an idea.

The inserts are 3.32” x 2.11” which includes some bleed. At the end we want all images in high resolution and in vector-images
So you make them the best in illustrator.

I want from each participant at least 3-5 designs.

Remember the winner can also make designs for our company in the near future.

Requirements

Must have

• - 2-3 different sort of designs:
  - 1: Designs with color (like the girl-designs) tip; make some similar to the designs as example (Not easy)
  - 2: designs with wood: for these designs the lines of the illustration is just enough.
  (but you're also allowed to fill it in color, of to do both. In our collection we have also designs that we already use for both (the same design on wood and the other just full color plate! (totally different way of making it)
  - patterns if you have some nice patterns it can be very nice design. see for instance the 10th design with the metal (very nice design) only to boobies are a little to big (laughing)
  
  Remember sometimes less is more
