Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for our new SaaS Web App called 'Patchwork' It is an analytics / data mining type tool, designed for use in SME businesses. It needs to be simple but distinctive, modern, flat(ish). It can play off the word 'patchwork' in it's design, but not to the point of kitsch. Think of modern web app brands like Slack.com or Monday.com. It will be mainly used online, and on letter heads etc...
