Logo Design Brief

We sell SEO services to $100M companies. We need a good looking professional logo that can be used in high res and low res - so website usage and printed materials. We need a box logo (one that is square like a postage stamp) and one that is a banner - for website usage.

The logo needs to be on a white background - like the "DesignCrowd" logo - it needs to have color but not reside in a box of color.  It needs to be a "cut out" that floats on white - like the DesignCrowd logo.  Where the graphic and the "Web Profit Experts" words are on a background of white.

We like the use of the $ in "Web Profit Expert$" - that was a nice detail we liked.  We like the sideways (and small) use of the ".com" like on our current logo - those logos that show this are scoring higher because of that.


Some logos are using red - this means LOSS on a P &L - so read is a no no.  We need dark blue and black please

  • A profit graph may help convey the emphasis we have on PROFIT. We provide SEO services, but really we are selling higher profits via SEO services.
Nice to have
  • We'd like to keep the colors simple - like dark blue and black. So, it can be used in lots of ways without color clash.
Should not have
  • We don't want too much fine detail that would be lost in some print formats. So, if there are too many fine lines, it would not be good.
