Logo Design Brief

We need a logo for our labor association which is called The Nevada County Sheriff’s Management Association. We refer to it as the SMA or, Nevada County SMA. We give money to charities and do a lot of charity work in our community so we need a logo which will go on t-shirts, polos, sweatshirts, banners, etc. It should be something that will be simple to print and easily embroidered. It’s typical among other agencies that the logo say, “Nevada County Sheriff’s Management Association” in smaller letters but then have “SMA” be prominent somewhere. Most associations use a badge as the center piece and our badges are 5 point stars within a circle. I will try to upload examples of what our counterparts (the Deputy Sheriff’s Association) does but we want you to be free to be creative. Our uniforms are green and tan but that does not necessarily mean the logo must be those colors although it should work in a 1 or 2 color scheme making it easy for t-shirt printing.
