TBD 2.0 is an architectural design studio based in Edmonton, Alberta (Canada) that specializes in sports and recreation and multi-family housing. The two partners of the firm had a wildly successful business before they were bought out by a larger company. They are now restarting their original firm under a new name and doing boutique-style, old-school architecture for both local and international clients.
Architects have a tendency to be very much the "primadonna" type, but this group is all about being real, listening to the client, and doing quality work. They don't take themselves too seriously, but they are very professional at the same time.
The acronym "TBD" includes the partners' initials, but we also refer to it as "To Be Determined" because we don't approach projects with preconceived notions about what the Client wants, but work with them to find the solutions that best fit their needs. The "2.0" is a nod to the fact that this is a second iteration of their first firm. I am not sure that this needs to be conveyed in the logo, but may help to give some context for the acronym.

- We are not picky about colours, but have considered a largely greyscale design with pops of a colour such as orange.
