I'm going to reiterate this here, because it seems that many/most of you aren't reading the instructions and are just giving me rehashed generic stuff here. The last thing I want is some hackneyed use of a liberty torch, a lighthouse or some kind of strange block mashup of the initials MPI.

We did another logo design contest for this same organization a year ago, and I actually see several of the *exact same* designs we had submitted then, which really means this is turning into a mashup with little thought.

I want you guys to think outside the box a little bit. Keep it simple. Keep it somewhat modern and clean, but don't do the obvious thing. That's what we're trying to avoid.
