Logo Design Brief

Design logo for law firm - want to EMPHASIZE this firm largely focuses on financial matters, so the logo should evoke trust and confidence to handle financial affairs.

Ideal design will have a modern, professional look with a strong splash of creativity using traditional known symbols.
Design can be just text, or text with all or part of a symbol/icon such as those listed below, that relate to law or traditional symbols of freedom

Prefer colors in blue, same hue but one dark and one light. If possible to work in some gold for shading or ornamentation, that has nice potential

Please see upload example, this design is too elaborate because it emphasizes a very prominent character - we are not looking for this. However, the use of the sword in the creation of the letter "V" is acceptable since it is incorporated into the name of the firm. This kind of integration of the text with the graphic is welcome, however we are not looking for an overly elaborate graphic or symbol, rather something that nicely compliments the text. If there is a figure such as lady justice, it should be more of an outline or a graphic suggestion, not a fully realized figure. We hope that makes sense.

• - eagle
• - flame of freedom (e.g. torch)
• - scales of justice
• - U.S. flag
• Let us be clear we would look for understated renderings, icons, outlines, something more simple than the design sample included
