Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for a family run optical business that was established in 1977. The business has had the same logo for the past 42 years and we are moving locations this year, rebranding and this includes a new logo. The business is based in Windsor, Ontario (Canada) and we pride ourselves on excellent customer service. We would like a logo that incorporates eyeglasses and our business name, Soulliere Optical as well as est 1977 (established). We would like to see designs that use the colour black/white or black/gold. The final design should communicate that we are an optical business.

Requirements

Must have

• We are having a black awning made for our store front so the logo text and design must be white or gold (depending on design) since the background will be dark. For business cards, we trust the designer's expertise.

Nice to have

• If possible, we do not want generic eyeglass design that we have seen when we google optical logo design. Something still minimal but that is interesting.

Should not have

• Fancy lettering. We would like something (font wise) that is easy to read and we are open to seeing some designs with a slightly retro feel.
