Logo Design Brief
Background.
The Hibiscus coast water polo is a small fun vibrant family and community based club with a passion for inclusion, participation and success. The club is represented by a number of international and national level players. The club is based on the Hibiscus Coast North of Auckland, New Zealand.
The club requires a new logo, that can be used on the club communications, website and clothing. Our website is http://www.hcwaterpolo.co.nz/ where the current logo can be viewed.
The gallery on the website also has pictures of our uniform where the logo can be seen on t-shirts. The hibiscus flower can be seen on our togs, and we would like to incorporate this into the logo.
The Logo must be editable and in a standard format including Adobe illustrator .AI format
Text: Hibiscus Coast Water Polo Club
Font: The current font is a University style font and a similar font would be acceptable but the font MUST be easily available and royalty free
Colours: The Club colours are
• Foreground: Black
• Highlight/border: Gold (not a metallic gold - a rich yellow)
• Background: Red (Close to a firebrick red RGB 178, 34, 34)
• The three colours are inherent in the culture of the club with the club teams names including a colour. i.e. Under 14 Red, Under 14 Gold or Under 14 Black
Design suggestions:
The club logo could include an image or representation of a Hibiscus flower
